For the past 22 years, the International Youth Art Exchange (ARTex) has shared American art with other cultures allowing students around the globe the opportunity to communicate through the universal language of art. The exchange provides a unique view of cultural life as seen through the art and eyes of children from around the world.

The International Youth Art collection is expanded through our annual call for submissions, when students from throughout the world offer their drawings and paintings on the year's chosen theme. A program of the World Awareness Children's Museum, this circulating educational archive of over 6,000 pieces of original art from more than 60 countries is available to schools, organizations and Museums as exhibitions for loan.
