The International Youth Art Exchange
of the World Awareness Children’s Museum

Now in its 23rd consecutive year, the International Youth Art Exchange is a global art share and exhibition program. Every year students in many different countries draw for us, and for every piece we receive from overseas, we respond in kind by sharing with them the best that our American schools send to us. Artwork submitted from U.S. students is judged in April for awards and inclusion in the Museum’s permanent collection. Our archives now include more than 6,000 original works from 68 countries and are available for loan to schools, museum and organizations.

The 2009 theme was "Change: Your World—Our World".
