2011 Judges: Jan Palmer Jan has received numerous watercolor awards including four major awards from the Old Forge National Exhibition of Watercolor. Now retired as a magazine illustrator, she paints and teaches at her studio in North River, NY. Bruno LaVerdiere Currently an Adjunct Instructor at SUNY Adirondack, Queensbury, NY, he has also taught at Skidmore College, New York University, and the University of Gorgia in Catona, Italy. Numerous pieces of his work can be found in private and public collections including the American Craft Museum, Columbus Museum of Art, and the J. Patrick Lannan Foundation. Bruno is a working artist living in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. |

of the World Awareness Children’s Museum 2011 Awards and Honors Announced! Now in its 25th consecutive year, the International Youth Art Exchange is a global art share and exhibition program. Every year students in many different countries draw for us, and for every piece we receive from overseas, we respond in kind by sharing with them the best that our American schools send to us. Artwork submitted from U.S. students is judged in April for awards and inclusion in the Museum’s permanent collection.
