The Museum's Capital Campaign funds the purchase and renovation of a 12,000 square foot permanent home at 89 Warren St. in downtown Glens Falls to inspire children in the upstate region toward creativity and education in the arts. Children learn about world culture and traditions through interactive activities inspired by the Museums prestigious collections of international youth art, clothing, musical instruments, and other educational artifacts. The uniqueness of WACMs new home enrices the region's cultural offerings and adds to its growing revitalization with expanded tourism and jobs. |
| WACM's interactive exhibition space, go! where children discover the world, is on the building's first floor and is dedicated to entrance, exhibition space, and a Museum shop. The Museum's collection of international youth art combines with clothing, musical instruments, textiles, and dolls from around the world to provide full immersion into a foreign culture. | |
| The second floor houses the Museum's international youth art collection and educational artifacts stored in temperature and humidity controlled areas. Administrative offices and a conference room complete the space. | |

From there, children will experience the customs and traditions in the HOME & FAMILY LIFE gallery, instruments to play in the WORLD MUSIC CENTER, clothing and costumes to wear at the WORLD FASHION gallery, and create their own production at the GLOBE THEATER with scenic backdrops. COUNT ME IN displays the Museums collection of international coins and the art of "buying" and "selling." At the MARKETPLACE, children will discover food, farming, marketplaces and cooking. At the end of their journey, children can draw their Museum experience at the EXPRESS YOURSELF STUDIO. |
