Can I hold an event at the Museum?

Yes! In many cases we would be happy to host your event through our facility rental program. Make arrangements a minimum of 2 weeks in advance by emailing info@worldchildrensmuseum.org or calling the Museum at 518-793-2773.

I have an idea for a program. Who do I contact?

Are you open during school vacations?

Yes! We are open during most local school vacation weeks and on some Monday holidays during the year, including President’s Day and Columbus Day. Check hours page for info on specific dates.

Is my child a suitable age to enjoy the museum?

The exhibits are primarily designed for children over the age of 3. Elementary school-aged children especially enjoy the hands-on clothing, toys, musical instruments of go!, while teens and adults may find other aspects more engaging (e.g.,: international art and artifacts).

Is go! handicapped-accessible?

Yes! We don’t have an automatic door at the front entrance yet, but our front desk staff will be happy to assist visitors with the door.

Can we bring our stroller in?

Yes! Visitors are free to use umbrella strollers that are narrow enough to maneuver through our exhibit areas. Larger strollers must be parked inside our entryway.

Is photography allowed?

Yes! Take lots of pictures, tweet them and post them on our Facebook page!
